The Right System
for Every Home
Whether you need to cool a single bedroom or manage the climate across your whole house, we'll recommend the most cost-effective solution for your situation.
Bedroom Systems
Ultra-quiet operation from 19dB — you'll sleep through it. Individually controlled for personal comfort.
Living Room & Open-Plan
High-capacity units that cool or heat large spaces quickly, without the noise of a portable fan.
Home Office Cooling
Stay productive year-round. A compact split unit keeps your workspace at the ideal temperature without disturbing the rest of the household.
Whole-Home Multi-Split
Up to five indoor units running from a single outdoor unit — ideal where external wall space is limited.
Heat Pump Mode
Modern split units heat as well as cool. Reverse the cycle for efficient winter warmth — no separate heating system needed.
Smart Controls
Control every unit from your phone, set schedules, check energy use and adjust temperature remotely via a dedicated app.

Bedroom air conditioning units are specifically chosen for low noise output. Modern inverter-compressor units from brands like Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric and Panasonic operate at 19–26dB on their lowest fan speed — quieter than a whispered conversation.
- Wall-mounted units sit high on the wall, directing airflow away from the bed
- Sleep mode automatically reduces fan speed and dims display lights after a set time
- Pre-cool before bedtime with a schedule — no need to leave it running all day
- Dehumidification mode reduces humidity without over-cooling on humid summer nights
- We recommend 2–3.5kW for most bedrooms; larger loft rooms may need 5kW
Living rooms and open-plan kitchen-diners typically need 3.5–7kW to handle south-facing glazing, kitchen heat loads and higher occupancy. We calculate the right size using room dimensions, window area and insulation standard — oversizing leads to short-cycling and damp air.
- High-capacity wall-mounted units cool open-plan spaces up to 60m² effectively
- Ceiling cassette units give better air distribution in rooms with high or vaulted ceilings
- Auto-swing louvres direct airflow horizontally in summer and downward in heating mode
- Energy use in cooling: a typical 5kW unit costs around 40–60p per hour at current tariffs
- Heating mode in winter is significantly cheaper than a plug-in electric heater at the same output
A home office is often the highest-priority room for comfort — when you're working, temperature directly affects concentration and performance. A compact 2–3.5kW split unit is usually the right size for a single-room office.
- Independent control: cool your office without affecting the rest of the house
- Running cost at low-medium fan speed: typically 15–25p per hour — far less than a portable unit
- AC also dehumidifies, making a warm room feel much more comfortable without over-cooling
- Ultra-quiet operation ensures video calls and concentration work aren't disrupted
- Heat pump mode provides efficient winter heating — no additional panel heater needed
A multi-split system uses one outdoor unit to serve up to five indoor units. This is ideal if you only have one suitable external wall location, or where planning permission for multiple outdoor units would be difficult.
- Each indoor unit is independently controlled — you only run the zones you need
- Refrigerant pipe runs up to 25m from outdoor unit to farthest indoor unit (model dependent)
- All indoor units can run simultaneously in different modes on heat-recovery models
- Slightly less efficient per zone than separate singles, but often the only practical whole-home option
- We plan pipe routes carefully to minimise external visual impact on the building
All modern split systems can reverse the refrigeration cycle to provide heating — this is the heat pump mode. It's genuinely efficient for most of the year and runs on electricity alone, with no gas required.
- A COP of 2.5–4.0 means you get 2.5–4kW of heat per 1kW of electricity used
- Efficient down to ambient temperatures of -15°C (some cold-climate models rated to -20°C)
- Not recommended as the sole heat source in very poorly insulated homes without backup
- Works well alongside underfloor heating or radiators as a supplementary or primary heat source
- We'll give you an honest assessment of whether heat pump mode makes sense for your home
Every major brand now includes Wi-Fi control as standard or via a low-cost adapter, turning your split system into a fully connected smart home device you can manage from anywhere.
- Daikin Onecta, Mitsubishi MELCloud, Panasonic Comfort Cloud and Fujitsu FGLair — all iOS and Android compatible
- Set weekly schedules so the system is ready when you arrive home, not running when you're out
- View daily and monthly energy consumption logs for each unit
- Away mode holds a frost-protection minimum temperature while you're on holiday
- Compatible with Alexa, Google Home and Apple HomeKit depending on brand and model
